I recently updated a computer from Leopard to Snow Leopard, it has iLife '08. The thing is that, ever since we updated the computer, there has been issues with the Flagged option (flagged pictures in iPhoto):
The person has a lot of pictures flagged ( 200) in iPhoto, which show up in the special flagged album, and this special album (this one comes built-in iPhoto) are selected as Desktop Pictures (via System Preferences), randomly rotating every 5 seconds or so. It used to work fine, but after the upgrade to SL the whole iPhoto tab within System Preferences
