Photos all white, events all black ...
After transferring some .jpg files to a memory stick I can no longer see my pix full size. On opening iPhoto '08, version 7.1.5, all the pictures come up very briefly but are then replaced by a set of white frames under which appear the correct DSC numbers. If I click on any of the white frames, all I get is a large black exclamation mark in a white circle. If I go to a different part of the "Recent" sections of the library, this process repeats but if I go to an Album I only get the white frames. If I select "Edit", I get the line of thumbnails along the top but otherwise the large picture is blank. If I select "Events" these are all raised black frames and if I click on one of these I can momentarily see all the pictures therein before they go white. I have tried using Spotlight to see if I can find either the files using their DSC numbers or within the albums and I can locate the albums but they are empty and none of the pix appear under their DSC numbers. The only 4 pix which do appear and can be recovered do not appear to be located within iPhoto and, apart from the fact that they show up through Spotlight or within "All Documents", I cannot otherwise locate them. Of course, these are four I no longer need. Is it possible to recover the 20 or so pix that i do need?
